This week’s WordPress Photo Challenge: challenge yourself to rethink your ideas about what subjects are appropriate, and then challenge yourself again to find an unusual perspective on your subject.

Walking towards the old port in Riva del Garda I saw these old pylons among them there are three ducklings with their mother and a little further out two peddling boat and a tourist cruiser.
I walked on towards the old port itself, and I decided to do a close-up of the top of two pylons, you can see the old port in the background.
Unlike the first three pylons these are still in use. They’re part of a group that are used to moor one of the larger ferry boats. Here’s a photograph of how their bolted together, you can see another part of the old port, this time from a different angle.
The first photograph was taken near the Monument to lost Seamen…that will go for our “Sunday Walk” tomorrow.
Have a great Saturday!

LOL, your framing actually reminds of that scene in Jaws.

Yeeks! I’ve never actually seen that film. Not my kind of horror 🙂 I prefer mythological, known to not really exist monsters, like ogres and such.

Well, not the horror part of it, just a famous scene, where the landscape keeps getting interrupted by a passerby and each time the picture gets closer and closer. 🙂
