  1. aloha Bastet. i like the association that can be explored with cracks and aging. i think that’s a good focus for the contrast and compare thinking of haiku.

    the font on this background is easier to read. maybe that’s one of the things that will help the clarity of font for reading i’ve been going on about. . . . that simple background for the font helps a lot.

    this image is one of my favorites of yours. it’s very clear in the sense of what it is yet it’s also unusual to our (the reader’s) mind. it’s a beauty with the contrast of color between leaves and ground, which are reversed in the way we’d usually think of it with autumn leaves and ground (leaves being the color and ground being the more grayed or neutral earth hues). i think that is very much in line with haiku thinking. cool. aloha.
