Trifecta Weekend!

Trifextra Challenge: Maggie Stiefvater writes, “It is the first day of November and so, today, someone will die.”  Give us the next thirty-three words of this story, as you imagine it.  Take it wherever you like, but make it original and make it 33 words exactly.

As John looked down at the cadaver Maggie Stiefvater’s words came to mind.

“Now why did I ever decide to read that today!” he sadly mumbled as his spirit slowly began to evaporate.

    • thanks for your comment…these 33 word shorts are really a wonderful challenge in “essentialness”…of course easier to write a poem in 33 words, but I like to prose these through.
