At the Akashic Library: Cookies

I was lounging around the Library this morning trying to get some inspiration when my two muses walked over to my table…

“Well Georgia, I see you finally got around to solving the dashboard problem.  I must say it was about time!” Sekhmet said in her oh so modest way, “Of course if you’d come to me the problem would have been solved sooner…but no you went asking WordPress to look into it!”

“Sekhmet dear, that is the proper procedure you know. Besides what would you have suggested?”

“Pshaw!  They didn’t even answer her, right.” she said but she also pointedly avoided answering Bastet’s question I noticed.

“Well…you know they’re having so many problems now, they can’t answer everyone!  Besides, I’d like to hear how Georgia solved the problem.”

“Well, how did you finally solve the problem Georgia?”

“Actually, I mentioned the problem to Sahm King…”

“AH!” Sekhmet interrupted with a squeal:  “You mean that lovely demigod entity from Arkside of Thought?  Yes, yes, you did quite well, he’s always browsing around the book-shelves here. So, what did he tell you?”

“As I was saying,” I continued just a little peeved, “Sahm suggested, as the WordPress help page had suggested, that I clear out my cache, which I had..but he added my cookies too! What was more important to me, he showed me how I was to do that on my Firefox. So I threw out all my old cookies et voilà, everything was in order again.  Must have been one hell of a cookie attached to our blog!”

“You mean you’ve been hoarding cookies?  Where have you been caching them?  What type were those cookies by the way, and why did you never offer any to me.  You know how I love those American toll-house cookies, and I don’t mind a sugar cookie from time to time.  You see, if you’d have shared and not hoarded them, you wouldn’t have gotten into trouble!  Besides cookies get moldy after a time, quite indigestible!” she said hauntily as she flounced out of the reading room.

Bastet and I watched her leave bemused.
