What seemed
a loss
to be
your gain

Thought you
sadness
to be
failure

Think then
upon
the love
received

And say
thank-you…

Trouble
has brought
so much
to me

And war
has taught
me love
for peace

Rootless
was I
without
country

Opened
me for
present
bounties

Silver
linings
