Kyrielle Sonnet (variation 6 syllables)
Black Angel
Dark angel of the night
Black wings ready for flight,
Temptress, lady of sleep…
Come now my heart to reap!
I dream, so see her face,
Lovely and full of grace.
Yet tears I’ll surely weep.
My heart is hers to keep.
Alas, sad cold morning!
You came without warning!
I long to be asleep…
For need of her is deep.
Dark angel of the night
My heart is hers to keep.
Instructions
Beautiful and eerie. Love the mystic feel to it.

Thanks…between you and me, I’m not sure what it’s about…but that’s what the picture suggested to write…

Reading it again I can see how it connects to the picture, but it also makes me think of Queen Mab. She was connected with dreams. A fairy too, so it isn’t a perfect analogy.

It’s something that was stuffed away in my subconsious…I tagged it melancholy and depression just to be sure I covered those two options too…could also have been influenced by the music I was listening to…by Adrian Von Ziegler….called Winter Breath.
