Ragnarök today!
N.B. Since my youngest son was little he loved mythology and history…of course he went into D&D for a time, we read fantasy together in the evening and old Norse stories…you can say that the kid helped me create a knowledge base I wouldn’t have had…encluding Egyptian dieties…ergo Bastet! I think I’ll have to pass this piece of music on to him. He’ll love it and I find it better than some of the Epic Metal that he usually listens too when the mood takes him!
Love Norse mythology, but always been more of a Greek fan. Great reading poetry based on myths though.

The Norse poetry is really rather primitive when compared to the Greek stuff…

True. I prefer reading the stuff as stories for some reason. I use a lot of mythology influence in my books.

My youngest son loved Mythology…greek, egyptian or Norse and others. He searched everywhere at a certain age for the Ring of the Nibelungs when he was older but we’d gone the rounds before he got there! Ragnarok always seemed so strang a concept to me, unless you put it into contect of everyday life…we each meet our Ragnarok some day when Nidhoggr’s call comes.
