The Interview: Moments…and discontent

“They’re moments like these that separate the men from the boys,” Michael said.

“Yes, you’ve got one shot at a meaningful interpretation,” Martha continued,  “just one moment of vague recognition and then, everything is gone.”

The reporter turned off his recorder muttering:  “Nothing to look forward to…nothing upon which to reflect.”

They walked away, each upon a separate road. Vaguely dissatisfied.

  1. Thanks for reading and for the link! 😀 I can understand why each of them were dissatisfied by that interview. Michael and Martha missed the moment to make meaningful statements in favor of vague cliches that give nothing of themselves to the reporter. Well done!
