Very nice, Georgia. So clear, I feel I am looking out a window!

Thanks dear…maybe I should just close down Through the Eye of Bastet…these work better as coments to my poems and stories…

It gets confusing doesn’t when you have 2? I find that with my other blogs…I have sorting out to do with the other ones. Since you are using your name, have you thought of a page within this same blog for photos?

I opened the other exclusively for photos…the media space is so limited, I thought it’d be better to have the other. I’m going to have to think this through…I really write on more than two blogs…right now I count at 7…but one I never write on…it’s private, but I just may turn it into something else.

I love the idea of a ghost city beyond the surface of the water — great poem, great photo!

That photo is was so inviting…I was thinking maybe of a story, but a poem came instead…but one never knows about the future! Glad you liked it, coming from a great photographer like you I appreciate it!

Oh, I’m not a good photographer at all! I take a lot of garbage, mostly – things that are interesting to me and me alone. Like, a leaf sticking out of a gutter or a strange crack in the sidewalk. But amid that “garbage” I find a few GREAT shots and have to share them. Sometimes nature is so fantastic that even *I* can’t mess up a photograph! 😉

Well…now that is par for the course I think. I know quite a few photographers and they all say the same thing. Lots of garbage, but then they pull out the great stuff…my husband is always onto my case because I’m constantly snapping away, but it’s worth it for those interesting compositions and the occasional “Wow” shot. I use my own photos as much as possible for my posts, so I like variety.

So I’m not alone then? The photo taking drives son and husband crazy — kiddo says, “can’t we go *anywhere* without stopping for pictures all the time?!?” (I say *no* of course.) People in the neighborhood must think I’m crazy – suddenly ducking to look into a gutter or getting *really* close-and-personal with tree bark. Oh well!
I hope “Elemental Eye” is soon back online — I think you’d like his photos. http://theelementaleye.com/
