Our Reality … Free Verse

Our Reality

Poets, writers of like kin
Know that nothing ever really ends
We may not find our friends
Of yesteryear,
Yet somehow they’re always sitting there
They’re the traces in our memory
Our reality …

Trifecta closes…it’s been fun, you will be missed.  Love, Bastet.

  1. “They’re the traces in our memory”-so true Georgia!Well said and hey glad I met you here on Trifecta and gladder that I keep seeing your writing elsewhere and thus am sure we will continue to meet and read each other :-)Tc and all the best

  2. The traces in our memory..beautiful. And holds extra special meaning for me, as my sister who I just lost, was named Tracey and I called her Trace.
