under the willow
storm winds whisper their promise
silent song birds wait
under the willow
children play and elders nap
summer sun shining
under the willow
a lost lagoon moulders green
water reflections
under the willow
mysterious summer dreams
carps swim in the pond
Written for Carpe diem Haiku Kai – The first Line I have to admit I enjoyed writing these haiku. I liked how the first line set the pace…and I liked looking for some of my older photos to illustrate them. Have a great day folks.
These are great, Bastet 🙂

Awesome, gorgeous, beautifull series of haiku all starting with “under the willow” you were inspired, all four are little paintings.
