Lost
Somber thoughts
In forgotten books
Philosophers, commedians and politicians
Lanquish
in the early dawn
thoughts like black clouds whispering
ephemeral fame
Spiders
Black webs
Capturing men’s minds
For a passing moment
Ideals
Written for and inspired by Mindlovemisery’s Menagerie Photo Challenge and Blog it or Lose it for the poetic combination.
This is gorgeous – I especially like the opening elfje!
A wonderful response to the prompt!
And – as always – I appreciate the shout out! 😀

It’s becoming harder for me to reblog…the wp adds other people’s photos to my media library and it’s becoming too full…this is an alternative. Glad you liked it.

WP made some changes lately with how you add your own photos, too – I’d like to be able to add frames (you used to be able to do that) and to be able to resize photos (you know, 90%, 80%, 70%, like before). It’s frustrating. Like with the haiku cavalcade photos – I’d like for them to be larger than they are, but all I can manage is “medium”. Ugh. Sorry, rambling here.

My editor has large and full size and once put onto the post, if I click it I can further edit it with a thing called personal (which I haven’t tried yet but think that might have those little tweaks your talking about.) I hate it when they make “improvements” without notice…but then I don’t like my stuff to be changed once I’ve mastered it…I would like the choice to move on or stay with the old system.

Amen! I’d love to say, “um, no thanks” when they “offer” these improvements!
I may contact the WP “help desk” (or whatever they call it) to see if they offer any advice. Ugh.

Hadn’t thought of that move…the few times I went there they only confused me further…guess though one has to take what they offer you…kind of like the Facebook odyessy…sigh.

Yeah, beggars can’t be choosers, right? Sometimes I see it more as “voicing discontent” than actual answer-getting though. Oh well.

Yep…more or less. Maybe you’ll have more luck though.

Let’s hope so! The photo issue is so frustrating.

Is it ever. I’m going to have to weed out all my older reblogs and try to get some space as well…that’s a long job I could have done without!

Really well penned… A topic that might to fit into poem shape and, yet, the ending product is marvellous. The last stanza is my favorite, Bastet.
Best wishes to you, Aquileana 😉

Thanks Aquileana…it’s one of my fav topics so it was easy to put into a poetical form. These particular forms require synthesis to get a coherent thought, I’m happy then for your comment which tells me I’ve succeeded 🙂

It used to be that way until not so long ago…don’t know what’s going on but it eats up my media library space!
