Haiku – Bumble Bee

cyclamens also known as snowbread flowers

cyclamen flowered
spring heat worked it’s magic
bumble-bee in the leaves

It sat there,
Hiding quietly …
Whilst I pruned,
A loud buzz!
Surprised I jumped back, wide-eyed!
Indignant bee left.

    • Bzzzzzzzzzz! The bee replied. Had a good Friday thanks, besides it was a National Holiday here in Italy! Hope you have a great Saturday Morgan! And thanks for commenting. 🙂

        • You know Oli, what worries me is that I’m an ad-libber. What you read is usually right off the top of my head, I don’t think too much about what I’m going to write…it just comes, which is why I have a hard time hand writing anything. I catch what I’m composing immediately and the keyboard picks it up, and outside of my myriad typos the work is done. I might read it over and tweak a little but basically the full poem, prompt, story or comments as in this case, just come out. So I wonder, if it’s so easy, well maybe it isn’t really that good, no profundity. So, when someone like you makes a compliment like these I feel like maybe, well it’s all worth while. Thanks ma cher…really.
