Haiku – Coolness – June 11, 2014

Today is a scorcher! It’s 1:00 and the temperature is about 34°, what better time to write about “coolness“!

pool side pondering
blazing sun reflections
cool lemonade awaits

lazing with a book
sudden cool refreshing breeze
oscillating fan

at five o’clock
coolness before dawn
blazing sun rising

flash summer storm
dark rumbling afternoon rain
cool evening sleep

sleepless muggy night
walking under the moon light
cool frogs croaking

I love them all, Georgia! I guess I can relate mostly to the 2nd and last one…getting ready for those hot nights but I will try to NOT complain since our winters never seem to end.
