embraced by creeping shadow
the gargoyle takes flight

This week’s haiku was composed by Lou B of Scatterbraining which was written in response to the Haiku Shuukan prompt “Gothic”. Remeber that a renga is a poem written by two poets … the haiku is the lead … a couplet of two verses (classically 7-7 syllables ) is the conclusion.
