moonlit nights
cool breeze whispers
Riva refreshed
summer storm
late night shivering
pull out the duvet
moonlit concert
melodies vibrate
through the evening
evening on the terrace
friends enjoying pizzas
mosquitos dine
When nothing is certain anything is possible
life happens . . .

It would still make sense — why else would gnats hone in on the one part of your body that you’re not allowed to move at that particular moment! 🙂

Oh my … globalization does have its own special problems. I’m sure we’ll never know her in Italy if the darn stuff in rolling in … well maybe, it makes for sensationa summer news.

Anything that sells will make it on the news! And I’m sure there’s money to be made out of *fear*. You remember how it is here — they use fear like marionette strings! Reach for that wallet, buddy!

Yes I do know what you mean and remember very well from my last trip back. However it’s becoming an international sales pitch … you should have been here when the mad cow sindrome hit not to speak about the Asian “chicken” flu etc. I just haven’t heard of the latest scare … don’t watch the new anymore.

You’re probably wise in not watching the news.
Here, we seem to get maybe 10 minutes of worthy, legitimate (if somewhat biased) news, along with 10 minutes of celebrity crappe and personal interest, and a good 10 minutes of “what’s the latest thing you should be frightened about”. Ugh.
What’s frightening is what’s left OUT of the news.

Well, I don’t know if its right or wise, but as you say it’s a lot of gossip, war mongering, leading, manipulating crappe … and very little of what could really help us navigate in this world we live in … mor like distraction which eventually means we wind up on the shoals.
