Written for Carpe Diem Haiku Kai – Butterfly

This was one of the more elborate prompts this week for Chèrvrefeulle … full of not only some beautiful photos of butterflies but couple of wonderful series of haiku dedicated to them.  Drop by and have a look.  You’ll certainly enjoy it and maybe you’ll be inspired too!

The second stanza sums up aptly the nature and cultural behavior of a butterfly. They are around and they are flying friends! Great write Georgia!

    • I often write a series of haiku lately … mostly I guess to get the feel of the prompt, so I think they do tend to “grow” as the series does. Thanks Oli and I’m glad you liked the photo I chose to use 🙂
