Travelling – Fibo-Ku and Shadorma for Barb

On sun-kissed seas
Of happy imagination …
Seeking a vision of sunshine despite the rain fall …
I feel the salt upon my lips – warm sunshine – memories tucked away for days like today.

Just a trip
Through my mind and yet
The sun shines
The birds call
That was … is here once again
In the sea of mind.

For you Barb

  2. What a delicious poem, Georgia. We need to savour those memorable moments from the past, tucked in the attick of our brains but not in that drawer that always gets stuck. Sorry your weather is so bleak. Michelle Marie taught me to chase sunsets even after a rainfall or very cloudy day and it seems to be true, the sky always changes slightly…some miracle happens.
