Monday Wordle – August 18, 2014

I’m running out of picture space, so until I do some judicious cleaning up I’ll just give you the words.  The wordle contains 12 words those words are: 1. Exude 2. Geese 3. Legion 4. Radiation 5. Meaningless 6. Decoy 7. Plaster 8. Linoleum 9. Dormancy 10. Falsetto 11. Gesture 12. Baroque (irregular in shape, extravagantly ornate)

Natural Instincts

Not a thousand years of winter dormancy
Nor the legacy of radiation
Could make meaningless the rituals of the geese
Flying south for the winter …
From a plaster linoleum tower
A vengeful man looked at his radar
Spotting a legion of fowl flying
He thought he’d send out a decoy
To confound the lowly creatures …
In a quacking falsetto he transmitted
Irregular co-ordinates to the beasts …
But the baroque melody
Only encouraged them to let fall
A massive malodorous bombardment
Exuding all the pent-up anger
That such a goosey gesture could …
The man looked on in wonder
As the birds continued on their original course.
