A Wordless Haiku – September 15, 2014

I’ve seen my friends posting wordless haiku recently inspired by Ronovan Writes … so I thought I’d try to come up with something, but I goofed it as it’s supposed to be more specific than my little collage … still I put the work into it and liked the collage, so here it is until I can come up with something a little more in theme.

I was trying out the PicMonkeyusing their collage app and had a few problems … as you can see I signed it G.d.k. and only noticed it later (sigh).  Ciao Bastet!

  1. Beautiful photography and on track for the Haiku. The Haiku is excellent, cheerful and great syllable adherence. 🙂 I like it. 🙂 And I really like how those last two photos work so well together with the flower showing. Excellent.

    • Thanks so much Ronovan! I was worried about it not being in rebus form (one photo one word) and I didn’t read the prompt until after I did the collage. I like the idea of picturkus very much! And as I say thanks … I feel encouraged!

    • Thanks Mike … I was unfamiliar with the PicMonkey app for making collages … I couldn’t get more than 3 photos to fit like I wanted them to (will use Picasa 3 in future) then I wasn’t sure if one had to use a picture for each word … but anyway it was fun. Thanks for the compliment Mike.

  2. Oh, this is so neat, Georgia! Lots of work went into it, I can tell!
As for me …. I cut and paste all kinds of photos using MS Paint and then adapt the final Paint image with PicMonkey.

But — enough about the image — I love the haiku too. 🙂
