Her Modigliani Neck – kyoka – September 17, 2014

Her Modigliani Neck (kyoka)

stretched out
as she watched the bats
fly in the driving rain …
so subtlety white
her soft Modigliani neck

my heart beat quickened
ah –  that silent temptation
(caress me my dear)
begging to be ravished
I, the Count,  could not resist

(Kyoka is a form of Japanese Waka poetry … dedicated to humor, very popular in the late 18th and early 19th century.)

Lunia Czechowska - Amedeo Modigliani

An example of Modigliani’s art work …

    • Doing pretty good, thanks, now that we’re finally getting some sunshine! I’ve missed seeing you too. I’ve not a lot of time to blog these days, and hope the winter will make things easier … glad you liked the kyoka … oh btw, I’m doing a lot of writing on my blogger blog (haiku and waka) http://bastetswakalibrary.blogspot.it/ and do a daily post (or every other day sometimes) informing my readers if they want to follow what )’ve done the day before. 🙂 Big hugs and happy days to you too!
