Don’t know myself if he’s a she ahm … the little dude has the run of a pretty big field but when people come by he rund to the gate like a kid … I think looking for company.

He looks so lonely — my heart goes out to him! (Or her!)
Reminds me of this poor horse not too far out of town. Had a crappy, tiny little field and a crappy, tiny, ramshackle shelter. Had a crappy, scraggly, barely maintained coat and a hung-dog look. So lonely, so neglected … made you half-cry to look at him. This fellow isn’t neglected — but he has that sad look about him.

I think it’s like some dogs … they always look kind of lonely … this little lad though is really very friendly and I guess he’d like more company.
