Morning Haiku and Waka – Sedoka – November 29, 2014

 no place to go to
aimless I walk down the path
lost inside my wayward thoughts

where did our love go
when it dried up like fall leaves –
first flakes of new-born snow fall

A sedoka is a poem created by writing two katauta or stanza of 5/7/7 syllables … each stanza is a stand alone poem, but they complete themselves being placed together.

  1. Love can get wayward without explanation. One just got to accept the inevitable. But given enough doses of recovery it can react immediately with gusto! Sad but lovely write, Georgia!
