This haiku takes some explanation I suppose. One of my students, Tiziana is an expert orchid grower. At the beginning of our English conversation meetings this year she gave me a beautiful orchid … which graced my living room for many weeks. And at the ends of our meetings she also gave me a sprig of orchids … the one in the photograph above.

Thanks … I really like mums but here you can only find them around All Souls Day … people put them on their family member’s graves.

Great illystration of the withered grasses.
Nice to have a professional orchid grower fro a friend 🙂
I find them not easy to propagate and have lost quite a few over the years.
Like your joined haiku but will be glad when the WP snpw season is behind us again 🙂

Yes .. very nice indeed! I’ve had one in my life .. the dear thing lasted forever, but I suppose I was to do something once the flowers dropped off .. but alas, I know nothing about exotic plants! What is the snpw season?
