Morning Haiku and Waka – December 30, 2014

tinkling in the wind
shells hang along the terrace
summer’s song

muddy waters
like the great Mississippi
snow melts

spiderweb
gossamer threads shimmer
in the kitchen corner

preparing a feast
eyes close by themselves
chopping onions

  1. A song of wind and light and water the whole way through — from the Muddy Mississippi to the eyes closing on their own. Perhaps more to chopping the onions though?

Nicely done — so much to feel here.
