A Passing Year (Choka)
celebrate
the death of another year
what was
what might have been
happy joyous smiles
dark thunderous exchanges
deaths
new-born babes
acts of war
moments of peace
new friends made
losing sight of dear loved ones
joys and tragedies
often humdrum boredom
departing year
pasted in a scrapbook
entitled life
sitting in her rocking chair
the old lady remembers

I’m hoping the whole experience of life and it’s much deeper meaning becomes clearer with age — I think I may just need stronger glasses . 🙂

Hmmm … well, now I’m not so sure that age brings deeper meaning or clearer understanding … but, one does learn patience and if you’re lucky to be born with a sense of humour .. the game is worth it 😉 (stronger glasses help as well)

Hahahaha— I know it… well, I guess a stronger glasses prescription couldn’t hurt, anyway. 😀 LOL

Yes … new glasses help in many cases … esp reading glasses 😉 … LOL

I think I’m gonna have to give up my 1970’s era frames and get some bifocals. 😀

Beautiful Georgia — between the joy and the thunder it’s been a heck of a year!
Glad to have met you though — all the best to you in 2015! Happy New Year – and drive safely wherever you are!

Yay! Missed your snow! 😀
Sorry I was a bit late in getting the Fairytale up — didn’t go live till 5!

No problem by me, and i presume you’re talking about the Tale Weaver prompt (careful… you may get zapped!) I just saw it now haven’t been able to get on line here at home … sigh. And didn’t get home ’til late last night. Hope you had a great time!

Had an “okay” time. Doggie is doing much better – showing some signs of life, which is good.
Yup. Did the Tale Weaver. Fairytale is up on its own (yes! hooray!). Very careful.

Glad to hear she’s peppy! I think we needn’t worry about F.T. prompt 😉

No, I think that problem FINALLY resolved itself. Not the way I would have handled it perhaps – but it’s RESOLVED — and I’m grateful 😉

A very astute and gracious summing up – my favourite line here is ‘often humdrum boredom’, which people tend to prefer to gloss over 😉

Thanks …. I think that at times I prefer humdrum boredom to drama myself 😉 Glad you enjoyed the choka.
