Snow Wisdom – Free Verse – January 7, 2015

Snow_hdr_small

soft snow-flakes piling up
muffling the world in white
no anger penetrates
no flaming tempers raise
this unearthly silence
reminds us all today
of quickly passing summers
and long long winter nights.

  1. The silence can be deafening can’t it? And a bit unnerving to be caught out of the cycle of time — yet keenly aware of time — a great write, Georgia 🙂

    • Thanks Jen glad you enjoyed it.. and yes, silence can be very deafening … this particular photo holds a lot of negative emotion for me so I chose it to work some stuff off … I liked this poem which speaks of that day and had attached it in a slightly different form in the one four challenge … I like it better here all to itself.
