This is today’s haiku on Carpe Diem Haiku Special the object is to write a haiku in the same sense, tone and spirit of the Haiku Master:

abandoned house
the garden taken over –
butterfly home

a ramshackle house
weeds and vines grow wild
a cat’s home

in those empty fields
falls an old abandoned house
a cat yawns

    • Thanks dear .. I’ve been trying to send you e-mails this morn and on’t know what’s come over bad connection .. tried to add new Mr. Linky to Taleweavers prompt but nothing for it … or so it seem from what I can see. Go to the post .. seems people don’t tag very well btw.

      • Oh dear. I’m sorry. Normally I get to my email much sooner — sorry I missed your email! No, you didn’t mess anything up. I guess all we can do is hope for the best re: tagging. If we see pingbacks we can remind people and/or check their tags.

        I tried InLinkz but my “trial period” has ended so if I want to use it I have to pay. #$#@$! Oh well. Guess I could sign up with a new email addy, LOL

        • Well .. mine hasn’t said anything about a trial period .. I’ve standard (free) usage … but who knows … I’ve used it for a year and a half .. if that is the problem one just goes for another free go …. we’ll see if the Fairy Tale prompt has problems.

          • I don’t know .. I get the impression that like with some anti-virus ware, once you pay them then they come back after awhile saying they’ve up graded so if you want to use their program … dish out a little more money … could be wrong though.
