Morning Haiku and Waka – January 14, 2015

Fountain Path

tinkling on the path
an old water fountain flows
alone in Riva

the gravelly beach
swishing splashing water sings
evening high tides

plop plop kurplunk
new rings in the lily pond
fat old frogs croak

chitter cackling call
piercing the early dawn
mysterious bird
calls a greeting to the sun
landing in the courtyard

  1. I commented on your other site, but it didn’t take. But I do want to thank you for the images of the daffodils being coy with the bees, and the rustling leaves calling Jack Frost. You channel Gaia’s voice.

    • I’m afraid that the comments don’t show up until they’ve been moderated (unlike WordPress which let’s you see you’ve been placed in moderation, Blogger just disappears and this can be very confusing.) I read you comments this morning over there an I thank you very much for your kind considerations! Thanks John for looking in!
