tinkling on the path
an old water fountain flows
alone in Riva
the gravelly beach
swishing splashing water sings
evening high tides
plop plop kurplunk
new rings in the lily pond
fat old frogs croak
chitter cackling call
piercing the early dawn
mysterious bird
calls a greeting to the sun
landing in the courtyard

lol .. what a coincidence that I wrote a whole noisy poem for you recently then this comes up on CDHK! It’s a bother to spell though.

The poem I wrote for you was much noisier than these haiku 😉 but just the same they are onomatopoeic.

Oh — Duhhhhhhh . I thought you meant you had written another one and you were teasing me with it. Man, sometimes I’m just not all that bright. 😀

Lol … I admit, I wasn’t sure what you were going at .. I was referring in the first comment to the Yum Yum poem … and how it was a coincidence that I’d just written that when the CDHK prompt came up. My bad, i didn’t explain myself properly!

I commented on your other site, but it didn’t take. But I do want to thank you for the images of the daffodils being coy with the bees, and the rustling leaves calling Jack Frost. You channel Gaia’s voice.

I’m afraid that the comments don’t show up until they’ve been moderated (unlike WordPress which let’s you see you’ve been placed in moderation, Blogger just disappears and this can be very confusing.) I read you comments this morning over there an I thank you very much for your kind considerations! Thanks John for looking in!
