  1. OHHHHH! I love how you’ve made the moon break through the “barriers” between the individual photos! This is GREAT!!! Very creative, and each image adds to the whole without being confusing. Awesome stuff. 🙂

    • Thanks Jen … that darn ray didn’t want to go where I wanted it to and had to fiddle around ever so long until it finally gelled! I’m so happy you liked it … I wanted it to be special for this photoku event!

      • A magnificent send-off 😉

Really, though — you’d never know you had problems with the ray. It looks great. Perhaps some day I’ll have to try that “breaking through the fences” method — not necessarily with rays, but with stretching and with clip art and other methods. Interesting. (Or, as we’d say, “fun”.) 😉

        Great stuff —

        • Yes way fun … I’m trying to figure out one of the “real” photo editing programs like Gimp or Photoshop … I’ve just realized that if you can figure out how to use one, you’ve more or less figured out how to use them all. I’d like to use the filters as something extra but learn things like cutting out the background, cloning etc.

          • Cloning has been AWESOME at PicMonkey. A real photosaver!

Also saving some of those valentines too — getting rid of stains and blotches and tears.

But, ah, to find the time to learn Gimp of PS …. yikes!

          • Well … basically even picmonkey and pixlr have the same instructions, options, pens and brushes etc. as Gimp. I usually go to the filter pages, which are more or less like Picasa 3, but in the end one stays a little limited. Besides, I want to learn to use my electronic drawing board … and that means using a complete photo editor.
