This week … I decided to flip the photo and see if it might inspire me a little …
I went monochrome this week … after flipping the photo I did normal adjustments and colour tweaks … toning down that sun that came through the tree fronds … but I still didn’t really like the photo so I decided to go black and white … but didn’t like that either in the end, I chose to tint and came up with this near black and white, adding a little “warmness” to it:
shades of grey
blaring white noise blinding
first sunshine

Oh, very cool — what a great idea — simply flipping the photo MIGHT encourage the muses a bit. Just enough color here to keep it interesting — and you know, I never noticed those mountainside fields before … hmm…. so I’d say it’s a success!

Flipping helped a lot … it gave a whole new vision to the scene and I enjoyed it …

Interesting how the flip makes such a difference. I prefer this one and I think it it primarily because of the flip.

I agree with you Lynne … it’s really strange how that happened and I agree with you .. I prefer this to the original which seems too crowded and bunched up.
