Dark
night
golden
drops of light
along the lake front
shimmering brightly this evening
as we listen to coots and ducks saying their good-nights.
Tomorrow
in the morning light,
will magic
still be there …
or will the world be blinded
by harsh bright sun-shine?

Love the contrast. That night seems so serene.

what a beautiful night you describe. I like the idea of a poem in a fibonacci sequence

Nicley done, cara…you paint the night as I love it being a night person and I think I might try that fibonacci form:)

Really like this — and it’s interesting to read aloud and feel how the fibonacci really picks up speed — 😀

I’m ready for some sunshine to magically make the show disappear. While it wasn’t much, there was enough snow… and I’ve already been out twice and still haven’t finished clearing the drive…
Thanks for your photo. The lights are like little gems.

Glad you enjoyed the photo … and hope that today is a less snowy day!

While it did snow for a long time their really wasn’t a whole lot of accumulation – and just a slight layer of frozen rain.
I didn’t get out my snow blower… I got exercise – but I took it slow – three times out to get the drive and walk clear.

Yeah … glad it didn’t get really deep … but still a lot of work I think!
