Although I’ve seen many magnolias blooming over the last few days, unfortunately I didn’t have my camera ready and I couldn’t find anything I wanted from my archives… so I’ve used this one from the Wikipedia.
Definitely agree with you — version two has a much better flow. It’s really lovely – elegant – and the singing & the phrase “lady of spring” makes me think of Billie Holiday. (Yes, she had gardenias – but you know what I mean.) 😉
A tough prompt — but you aced it 🙂

Thanks … I’m thinking I should go back to Picasa and write it properly … Billie Holiday .. now that’s cool! And as you say tough … not my favorite flower by a long shot.

I don’t think you need to re-do it — but — alas — if it were me it would drive me nuts too — been there!!!

Ah, I’ve been there, Georgia! And a couple of times I’ve accidentally had typos or slightly different versions… Drives a person nuts!
Hugs !!!

Ah yes … that’s happened too often (typos) to me and I might not even see it until after I’ve already done the final save and am posting! Thanks for the hugs dear …

It’s a bit like an oreo cookie — if you flip it over, it’s not supposed to taste different, but it always does. 😀

Yep … it’s like that sometimes … wonder why and Oreo just isn’t the same flipped over …

It’s all in our minds, I guess — or is it? 😀

I’m sure there’s a ineffable reason behind all this, shrouded in mystery … I even found a bit back that if you flip a photo it changes the whole game for some people!

I agree – there is an almost musical flow to the words in the second haiku. Gorgeous photo too.
