  1. This is so interesting, Georgia — I love the composition — the triangle of yellow especially. It’s both off-kilter and balanced at the same time — if that makes sense???

    • Maks a lot of sense … this was taen a while back and it is a strange photo in a way … glad you liked it, of course it was drafted at home … todayI wanted to try to get in at least a haiga for your prompt before I tak off for Piacenza …not my best and baerly made it … no reading today … and I see you’ve got something up for GGL and Blog it …. sigh … maybe when I rturn… ciao for now!

      • Why are you even worrying about reading GGB or BIOLI on vacation? Have fun, my dear! Fly! Fly! ๐Ÿ™‚

And – I’m very touched that getting a haiga written for the prompt was so important to you — you’re the best! But — enjoy your time away — you deserve it ๐Ÿ˜€

        • Well … the vacation is nearly over. We went to a big fair to buy costumes and what not for the medieval re-enactments which will be held in May, June and August … I’m going to be taking part this year, so had to find my drss, shoes and of course veil. It was great fun and I was able to find everything I needed, though I’ll have to do some hemming etc. Then the kids took me for dinner to an Eritrean restaurant … a fantastic day!

          • WOW!!!! That is fantastic! Once again, I am envious! I did Civil War-era reenacting once — but medieval reenactment sounds like so much fun. You’ll need to send us photos when the time comes!!!

And the Eritrean restaurant sounds very interesting too — what a nice day ๐Ÿ˜€

          • It was so much fun … really! And my dear, they had some really interesting medieval beer at a couple of the stands as well as cider and hydromel on tap – lots of weird snacks too. My son will be the camp cook this year so he got himself a medieval cook book … and of course there were other epoches represented … even some standa that catered to the first world war … and one that had cave persons!

          • Cave persons? I’d skip that reenactment, thank you very much — but the others sound fantastic! Your son will have his hands full as camp cook — but hey — you’ll both learn a lot, right? ๐Ÿ™‚
