There is a flowering apricot tree in my son’s garden, which is not the tree in this photograph, though they’re not dissimilar. Yesterday, was rainy and windy, the petals of the tree blew all around his garden. When h woke up my son looked out the window and shouted: “Oh no!!! It’s snowing!” and was happy to see that he was wrong.

What a lovely Haiga, cara, I was relieved. To read in your explanation it just looked like snow 🙂

lol … my son was relieved too, when he saw they were blossoms and not snow flakes! 🙂

I’ve seen that happen with other kinds of tree blossoms. But snow is forecast for later today. It snowed April 15 the year I had my second son. That’s the way it is in Indiana.

Oh my … here it would be very odd indeed and also a disaster for the fruit farmers! I’m kinda glad I don’t live in Indiana, though it’s a lovely state and enjoyed visiting it when my family lived there.

I love it, Georgia. THIS kind of snow you can handle, right?

And guess what? Our temps dropped again – supposed to be flurrying by morning. I’m going to pretend it’s just a lot of blossoms. Sound like a plan? 😉

Oh no! I know that’s what springs all about but what a bother! I left Padova in bright sunshine, without even a jacket and when I rolled out of the tunnel that separates Veneto from Trentino, I found cool cloudy grey weather .. hubby said the whole weekend had been rainy!

Oh dear. Yuk. You need at least a little sun! But hey — lots of May Flowers in the future, right? 😛

I had a great lesson .. and as usual I overslept today … I think that unless you have something to add here we can close this renga .. though there is something to be said about the direction it’s taking, which seems very interesting!
