north wind blowing
warm rain-laden clouds form
to shower spring blooms
wisdom
a dove on the horizon
playing in the wind
here and now
no worries for tomorrow
forgetting the past
the sun rises
and singing birds sing hymns
life blossoms
don’t spit against the wind
come in out of the rain

Oh yes .. the Italian actually say: ‘non pisciare contro il vento’ .. but I thought that would have been a bit much 😉

Cool … I’m way behind on my reading unfortunately … spring seems to make me so slow! Glad I made you smile!

Oh one must never forget to play … I watched the Shining last night … still scary after all these years! Anyway … the part where the writer’s wife finds he’s been writing “All work and no play …” just came to mind reading your comment!

Oh, definitely — that movie is TERRIFYING! And the book? Even more so! So much was left out. In fact, there’s a scene in the book that’s more terrifying than **anything** in the movie. [shudder!]
Sorry to (inadvertently) creep you out with the comment though 😉

I remember reading the book eons ago … and it was one of the most scary books I’ve ever read! i shudder at the things I’ve done to myself in my youth! 😉 You didn’t creep me out … I did that all by my lonesome!

Too bad they couldn’t have gotten the topiary scenes to work – with special effects being so limited. Or perhaps it’s a very GOOD thing!!!!

Think it was all to the good … that movie is pretty creepy as it stands .. from the first titles to the end it has you hanging onto your seat .. only Psycho was worse!

spitting against the wind could be really messy. What a fascinating tanka. I’m still pondering.
