  1. I used to go up to the country for weekends in the summer…
    In cow country – A cow poke/farmers’ day is long. Setting a spell looking for larks at the end of the day just seems a might fine thing to do.

    • Very nicely put Jules … I know that Chagall was contemplating death in the world … but looking at the scene I decided that maybe he might try to look at something a little less sombre, certainly we could do worse than looking for an absent lark.
