I really like how you bring in three possible “alonenesses” – the dew, the sun, and the narrator, without the haiku feeling lonely. The scene appears beautifully peaceful instead.

Thanks Blake … I feel that being alone and loneliness are really very different kettle of fish … all too often I’ve felt loneliness even with people around …

Absolutely. Other people often have a tremendous knack of making each other feel lonely, it seems. Whereas being around nature often feels ‘communal’.
