interesting poetry here, cara. My mom was anorexic in the 60`s but we didn’t know that word then…she just said she did not eat to save money. 😦

Lot’s of girls experimented with induced anorexia I think when Twiggy came out … from the soft curves of Marilyn Monroe and Lollobrigida to the stick figure in one summer .. and they’re still pushing skinny in pretty btw. Sorry though about your Mom .. mine was an overweight kid and we think she went through bulimia in order to get her weight down … one of the sounds I remember as a kid .. Mom going to the chuck-up dinner.
