Orange Persimmons … Haiku – August 7, 2015

scotland

those haunting bagpipes
mists over the foreign highlands
a call for freedom

This second haiku is closer to my reality …  😉

This was written for Heeding Haiku with Chèvrefeuille August 5th 2015 “completing the haiku” and it was quite an original feature indeed – and not as simple as it might seem on first sight … here’s Chèvrefeuille’s haiku example:

ancient warriors ghosts
mists over the foreign highlands –
waiting for the full moon

    • I don’t think it’s obligatory you know … 😉 the first one was trying to keep in with the “spirit” of the thing, my second is a haiku based on my reality … fantasy is fun … but I’ve never been to Scotland, unless you consider watching “Highlander” as being to Scotland …
