The rules of classical haiku:
5-7-5 syllables
A moment as short as the sound of a pebble thrown into water
A kigo (season word)
A deeper, spiritual meaning
And last, but not least, it must have a nature image

It’s great to revisit classical haiku from time to time, isn’t it?

It really is … it’s like going home after a trip … always nice to see the old place despite all the wonders you’ve seen.

Thanks for putting the classical rules here for me–I doubt I’ll ever succeed at it, but you never know…

So delicate sounding…nicely done even if you used a four-letter word (chuckles)

LOL … I’ll try to watch out for those four letter words in future!

Nah, above 10 it just fine. With the humidity though it felt like 25. I’ve got a nasty chest cold now…asthma is not too good and I`m due to work on Sunday. Isn’t it always like that eh?

Yikes I feel for you more than you know … my cold has dropped into my chest as well … what a pain! Hope we both get well soon 😉

Mine went straight to the chest from day one. My son has a similar cold…rhinitis is the culprit…sneaky and lungs get congested while you are sleeping.

Poor guy! That’s it exactly … all day snuffling and then when I wake up my chest is achy and I’ve a nasty cough …

I sound like a dog barking. As long as I can talk on the phone lines Sunday, if not I may plead to be put on Live Chat.

That’s it exactly … hope you’re well by tomorrow then! Got my fingers crossed.

Not well…missing GrandMaman and her homemade chicken noodle soup …mostly her soothing voice and take care pampering me. My inhalers are not doing the trick…may have to see a doctor to prescribe a stronger one..feel like my chest had a face lift it’s so tight.

The AC sucks at the office. It’s usually 25/28c I braided my hair and ready to rock slowly. Lol

An intoxicating breath.
I used to have a corner room with two windows with a cherry tree outside at the corner…

We used to have a decorative cherry in the back here…until a storm knocked another tree into it, which in turn up rooted the cherry. Now we have quite a bit of wood for our fire place.

Sigh … sorry about the cherry tree … but you do have a lot of wood for the fire place 😉
