Carpe Diem: Monophysitism – troiku – August 20, 2015

Turtles of course!

walking in a field
thinking of ancient mysteries
is God now human?

walking in a field
the fruits ripen on the trees
autumn approaches

thinking of ancient mysteries
each season returns
circular motion

is God now human?
the Zen master claps his hands
here and now exists

This particular prompt stumps me … I can’t imagine passing my life worrying about the divinity or humanity of God … I can’t imagine passing my life worrying about God at all in fact … the nature of God is God … and does it really matter at all to a finite creature that must learn about his own nature in the here and now?
