One line haiku – August 22, 2015

the olive grove under the castle hides young lover’s kisses

the lute and drum plays we sit gazing at the stars  … late summer evening

around the camp fire minstrels sing of daring deeds and knights  – ladies titter

As you all maybe know, haiku was mostly written in one line, mostly vertical, and in the Western world this phenomenon occurs too. There are wonderful haiku written in “one line”, for example this “one-bun”  written by Jim Kacian:

dark space the red shift of my mind
