gone …
once again
but should you worry
those roads are like a siren
they are always tempting me
come away with us
once again
… gone

This post has been scheduled since I’m away … sorry it went up so late Paloma but know I wrote this on the 19th.
For : B&P’s Shadorma and Beyond – August 14, 2015 – Joseph’s Star
The Joseph’s Star was created by Christina R. Jussaume. It is a non-rhyming 8-line poem with a syllable count of 1/3/5/7/7/5/3/1. Each stanza is center-aligned so that the finished poem is diamond-shaped.
I remember writing this form a few times…it is so lovely and of course le contenu est charmant!!

It does become a little disorientating, doesn’t it. I’m off again for a long weekend with my son … probably the last outing for a while. But then I thought Sluderno was the last one!

Ach … there are a lot of things that WP doesn’t seem to have 😉 And it won’t allow you to copy and paste images from google either in the comment zone!

Can you do it from your comment section in wp admin?

Yes, you’re just so good at getting all the syllables an stuff right whereas I struggle so much, well you saw my first shadorma I got everything mixed up in the end. I applaud you for your discipline and your ability to write any kind of poetry very well because I can’t do much else than free verse

My dearest … forms are a pain at times and I do get mixed up myself … especially with the more complicated ones! Still you write beautifully and I wouldn’t flog myself for a bit of “variety”! Nice to see you participate.
