shining on cobwebs
this early morning dew
crystallizes time
a crystal umbrella
made of spider silk
on the autumn path
imprisoned fly awaits death
caught in an old spider’s web
composing its fly jisei
it’s saved by the storm
even these morning cobwebs
are cleared away with breakfast
I’ll make some coffee and toast
thinking of autumn

Oh the jisei of the fly.. love the thought of that waiting, and glad in a way that he was saved.

Oh my, I am glad, cara. You know, that is the beauty of blogging…we don’t write isolated and never realizing our potential. You could never be stale, kiddo, never!! You are so open to to many things, ways of writing…nope, never stale.
