Autumn Leaves – Shadorma – September 22, 2015

orange

on my walks
summer still reigns
in warm winds
leaves rustle
only in my fancy that
leaves have all turned red

summer laughs
at autumn’s coming
stealing time
for a while
autumn will soon win the day
painting the woods red

  1. VEry nice flow here, cara! I had not seen this prompt…oh, I must try to slip one or two stanzas in…took a few photos to inspire me today but it’s so busy at work and tomorrow is 2 hours + of supervision.

      • Brava, cara! I really enjoyed it…it sure does not feel like autumn though. Yesterday it was cooler but not enough to wear a sweater (for me anyway) and today it is back up to 23C…but it is so pleasant for walking isn`t it?
