on my walks
summer still reigns
in warm winds
leaves rustle
only in my fancy that
leaves have all turned red
summer laughs
at autumn’s coming
stealing time
for a while
autumn will soon win the day

Yes indeed … summer may laugh but autumn will be here soon enough. [Sigh….]

Alas … but let’s enjoy the warmth while we can 🙂

It was frigging cold today …. I think it’s going to sneak up on us sooner than we know. Plus, autumn brings other things too. (Sighing. Again.)

Ah yes … it’s been cool evening here but under the sun boiling hot – but if you step in the shade or a cloud passes over-head you need a sweater! Right now it’s raining … I think you’re right, autumn’s sneaking up on us!

VEry nice flow here, cara! I had not seen this prompt…oh, I must try to slip one or two stanzas in…took a few photos to inspire me today but it’s so busy at work and tomorrow is 2 hours + of supervision.

This is for my B&P prompt … this week I introduced the Kyrielle Poem .. but I wrote not only a Kyrielle but a Shadorma to celebrate the first day of Autumn.

Brava, cara! I really enjoyed it…it sure does not feel like autumn though. Yesterday it was cooler but not enough to wear a sweater (for me anyway) and today it is back up to 23C…but it is so pleasant for walking isn`t it?

It’s been pretty warm here too. We actually got up to 26° day before yesterday and Saturday afternoon it must have been hotter, but alas .. it’s raining today.
