light of the full moon
shines through coloured leaves
at last … autumn

raindrops fall from moon lit clouds
leaves shimmer in the light

autumn is here
yet the sparrow is pining
[ah – summer breezes]

    Oh NO, not at all! I just saw it and thought how often I reach for it, then have to choose another word–I have a bunch of those faves that come to mind automatically, and it’s a nuisance to have to think hard, find equal or better “gems”. Not good when the brain is tired, but I don’t want to close up shop yet!

You may be familiar with Richard Ankers work, here on WP–partially due to memory issues, but also because of his passion for several fave themes, he can write over and over about the same things, and yet it’s always fresh and silver-winged. I never tire of it. That is something I’m pondering, trying to acquire more facility with–as I have some repetitive themes.
