Morning Haiku and Waka – over – October 12, 2015

Sunset_1_small

this day is over
burning up in splendid pinks
phoenix ‘s rebirth

over rainbows
some find their nirvana
other’s more rain

shooting a sunset
could be a glorious dawn
until it’s over

over the years
drops of cement harden hearts
too many repairs

the song is over
the silence of the moment
vibrant echoes

fenced over the fence
some say the grass is greener
over the fence

an ancient fence
old, distorted and crumpled
like old age

lines and squiggles
in a black and white world
no shades of green

(as I wrote request these last three haiku upon her request I dedicate them to Barb Taub)
