Hummingbird moth
[Nexus nunchi]
Lissome avian – from flower to flower –
Gamboled with bonhomie – puncturing-sucking nectar …
Clay pottery
Holding plants
Suddenly shattered
Predatory bird
Swooping down
Had attacked the moth’s tenable position
Which flew laterally in a vacuum
Of safety
Avoiding neatly
Getting et

Georgia this is beautifully done! I was rooting for the little guy hoping he’d escape with his life so I was much relieved at the end =) Enjoy your trip!

Thanks … that photo wanted a story, I wanted a poem … so a compromise was the obvious solution. 🙂

Way cool! I love when these coincidences pop up! I hope to get to your poem – being away has really messed up my schedule something awful. Thanks for dropping by 🙂

I didn’t know what I wanted to write about but wanted to do a “proper” Trinet … so I grabbed the wordle and the photo prompts and tried to see if I could do something decent … thanks for your lovely compliment J! Big hugs!

It was way great … I was so very proud of him and his presentation of his work … we had a fine celebration (went to a Japanese restaurant for lunch and a pub in the evening with friends) thanks Dawn for asking … but though the Trinet comes out sometimes “shapely” … it usually isn’t a shape poem 😉
